About the programme

Jörg-Hannes Hahn is Church District Cantor for Stuttgart and Artistic Director of MUSIK AM 13. He has taught organ at the Stuttgart Musikhochschule since 1996, where he was appointed professor in 2007. Engagements as a soloist, guest professor, competition juror and conductor have taken him to most European countries and to the USA, South America, Israel and Russia, Japan, Korea, Singapore and China. He founded the “Summer! Organ” and the “Stuttgart Composer Portraits” series with guests including Penderecki, Huber, Gubaidulina and many others. In 1996 he performed a Max Reger organ cycle, followed in 2000 by the organ works of J. S. Bach over 14 weeks, and in 2022 Bach’s chamber music in 14 concerts, with recordings for radio, CD and TV.
