About the programme
Ulric Andersson studied church music, choral conducting and singing. During his international operatic career he sang numerous tenor roles, including Lohengrin, Siegmund and Florestan, as well as in many oratorios. As a conductor, Ulric Andersson has made a name directing oratorios from the baroque to the modern. He has also taught singing for many years at the Malmö Academy of Music and been training director for Church Music at the Ersta Sköndal högskola in Stockholm, Sweden. In autumn 2012, Ulric Andersson became cathedral organist at Uppsala Cathedral. He also enjoys a busy solo concert career as organist.
