A hallmark of “Musik am 13.” is the surprising combination of the most varied styles and periods – and this programme for baritone and organ is no exception. Ludwig van Beethoven’s delightful op. 48 song collection is based on Friedrich Gellert’s “Geistliche Oden und Lieder”. Singer Paweł Konik presents two composers from his native Poland who are little-known in Germany – the Polish church musician Joseph Kromolicki, and the organist and composer Maciej Zakrzewski from Gdańsk.
