Zum Programm
Light becomes the instrument here: Laurenz Theinert makes full use of the sacred space with his “Visual Piano” and from projections, forms a constantly changing musical picture. Lines, surfaces and colours react to sounds and make structure and movement visible. And with this, the organ unfolds a range of Stockhausen’s cosmic sound worlds via Gubaidulina’s contrasts of light and dark to works of our own time. A space of light and sound, which relates seeing and hearing to each other in a new way.
